AWS Marketplace (paid)
Subscribing through AWS Marketplace lifts every free-tier limit: unlimited owned teams, unlimited workers, and no managed-bytes cap, metered at $0.30/TB/month for managed production bytes. The subscription bills through your existing AWS bill alongside your S3 and compute costs—no separate vendor to pay, and the charge rolls up into whatever AWS cost-allocation and procurement process you already run. The product handles Marketplace registration, account linking, and entitlement state, and enforces it automatically—if a subscription lapses, new archive and backup jobs are blocked again until it's restored, without touching data already in place.
Direct paid plans
Some teams would rather not route another vendor through AWS Marketplace—maybe procurement prefers a direct invoice, maybe you're not an AWS Marketplace customer at all. For those teams, Data Convoy offers a direct-pay plan at the same $0.30/TB/month rate, billed separately outside of AWS. It lifts the same free-tier limits as the Marketplace path—unlimited owned teams, unlimited workers, no managed-bytes cap—so the choice is purely about how you'd rather pay, not what you get. A site admin can also grant a one-off comped override for a specific account on a case-by-case basis outside either paid path.
